Ocean Network Express (ONE) has unveiled its Vietnam China Express (VCX) service, a dedicated shipping solution designed to streamline logistics between Vietnam and key Chinese ports. The service is scheduled to commence operations in mid-April, offering weekly sailings with a 14-day round-trip transit time.
The inaugural route will connect major commercial hubs including Ho Chi Minh City and Haiphong in Vietnam with Nansha and Hong Kong in China. Notably, cargo shipments from Ho Chi Minh City to Nansha will achieve an industry-leading transit time of just five days, significantly reducing delivery windows for regional traders.
This strategic expansion reflects ONE's commitment to enhancing supply chain efficiency in Southeast Asia's rapidly growing trade corridors. The VCX service has been specifically engineered to address the increasing demand for reliable, time-sensitive transportation between Vietnam's manufacturing centers and China's Pearl River Delta region.
"The VCX service represents our dedication to setting new standards in maritime logistics," a ONE representative stated. "By optimizing port rotations and maintaining consistent weekly departures, we're providing businesses with predictable, efficient connectivity to global markets."
The service launch comes as bilateral trade between Vietnam and China continues its upward trajectory, with cross-border e-commerce and manufacturing partnerships driving demand for specialized logistics solutions. ONE's new offering provides shippers with direct access to critical transshipment hubs while eliminating unnecessary intermediate stops.
Industry analysts note that the VCX service's competitive transit times and fixed weekly schedule position it as a compelling option for exporters and importers requiring just-in-time inventory management. The service's design particularly benefits industries with time-sensitive shipments, including electronics, automotive components, and perishable goods.
