CSAC has officially inaugurated a regular cargo route connecting Guangzhou, China to Glasgow Prestwick Airport this month. The initial schedule includes four weekly flights, with plans to increase to daily service in the near future. The inaugural flight successfully landed at PIK on May 16, marking the official commencement of this partnership. This new route is expected to double PIK's regular cargo handling capacity.

Last December saw PIK welcome its first dedicated e-commerce freight flight operated by Silkway West Airlines.
