Imagine a highly trained, cohesive customs force capable of efficiently handling daily operations while driving innovation through exceptional leadership to safeguard national economic development. This vision is becoming reality through initiatives by the World Customs Organization (WCO).
At the special invitation of Colombia's National Tax and Customs Directorate (DIAN), and with support from the SECO-WCO Global Trade Facilitation Program, the WCO successfully conducted a virtual Leadership and Management Development (LMD) workshop for senior Colombian customs officials in May 2021.
