Shopee Malaysia Replaces MYB Warehouse with New MYK Facility

Shopee Malaysia will launch the new official overseas warehouse MYK in 2026, with the old warehouse MYB being gradually phased out. Sellers need to update their inbound plans promptly and pay attention to the suspension of inbound reservations for both new and old warehouses. This upgrade only involves system code updates, and there is no need to physically move the goods. This aims to improve efficiency and capacity for Shopee sellers in Malaysia.
Shopee Malaysia Replaces MYB Warehouse with New MYK Facility

Sellers on Shopee Malaysia should prepare for a significant upgrade to the platform's official overseas warehouse system. Starting January 16, 2026, the new MYK warehouse will replace the existing MYB facility as Shopee's primary fulfillment center in the region.

Critical Timeline for Sellers

All new inbound shipment requests created after January 16, 2026 must use the MYK warehouse code. However, previously submitted MYB warehouse applications will continue processing without interruption.

The transition period includes a temporary suspension of inbound appointment scheduling from January 25-27, 2026. The MYK warehouse will begin accepting shipments starting January 28, 2026. Sellers are advised to carefully plan their shipping schedules to avoid operational delays.

Operational Considerations

  • No physical relocation of inventory is required - this is purely a system code update
  • All unshipped MYB warehouse inbound orders dated January 16, 2026 or later will be automatically canceled by the platform
  • Sellers must update their inventory management systems with the new MYK warehouse code

This warehouse upgrade represents part of Shopee's broader initiative to enhance operational efficiency for its Malaysia marketplace. The platform emphasizes that the change will minimize seller operational costs while improving fulfillment capabilities.

Sellers are encouraged to review their current inventory plans and adjust future shipment schedules accordingly to ensure seamless business continuity during the transition period.
