The new rules state that if any store under a merchant's account receives a "poor" rating within a 24-week period, all stores operated by that merchant will face restrictions on listing customized products. First-time offenders will have new product listings limited for seven days. A second violation results in a seven-day ban on new listings, while three or more infractions could suspend listing privileges for up to 30 days.

Simultaneously, Temu has relaxed store quantity limits, now permitting each business to operate up to three fully managed stores and three semi-managed stores. This adjustment aims to encourage merchants to adopt more sophisticated operations while maintaining quality standards, allowing them to cater to broader market demands through multiple storefronts.
