Traditional training methods have limitations. The Competency-Based Training and Assessment (CBTA) model focuses on competency development to improve maintenance personnel's practical skills and build a highly effective team. CBTA emphasizes hands-on experience and demonstrable skills. This approach is guided by ISD (Instructional Systems Design) principles and IATA (International Air Transport Association) guidelines, providing a practical framework for implementation and ensuring standardized, competency-based training programs. The goal is to ensure maintenance personnel are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties safely and effectively.
